Let it be...

" Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be..."( Stop singing before my laptop breaks)
After 3 days, most of our class students had calm down and think properly. I asked a lot people in our class, I think I can announced our class will not do any complaint or appeal. Since we tried hard, we didn't get the champion but I think everyone in S5 put effort in it. People have Serena and Challenger but we only got 2 hands 2 legs each, we still have 2 ton newspapers. Some more, we improved, I was told we got third last year.

After all, I think it's no point to complaint just leave it, this maybe a good lesson to prepare us well before step into society and know that there's are unfair in things. So it's a bad thing after all. Thanks Puan Chee and Puan Chan for the free lesson on "How important in a secret agreement in determine success?" .

Below will be some people that already stated their opinion for not to complaint:
Tan Boon Wei
Yong Keenen
Joseph Thong
Leong Shu Ying
while others don't feel like want to complaint.

Hence, conclusion is SMJK Katholik is a school in Malaysia. We should follow the Malaysia's principal, where "Principal of Secret Agreement" is applied. Hence the result of classes in competition is not directly proportional to the newspaper weighted in 14.00. The hypothesis is accepted although quite hard to be accepted.

Haha...Funny wei...The way I wrote...

I'm not trying to lodge a 'war' or anything, but I just really think it's unfair for you guys to judge us like that. You guys don't even know what's really happening on that day.

Yes, we have Serena and Challenger(and we put in effort to look for it) and we also have a whole class going all out to the residential areas in 3 days to collect the newspapers. We are having the same spirit and love for our class as you guys are doing and we did it the right way. It wasn't cheating or anything obviously.

Regarding the store, Pn Chan said there wasn't enough space to put in the LAS room and weighing them on that day itself would have wasted a lot of other classes time. If we didn't plan for another time, you guys wouldn't have the chance to weigh as well. By then you guys would be lodging another complains of some sort and we didn't want that to happen.

About 'secret agreement' that you said, I have to say it's very offensive and wrong for you guys to judge before knowing the truth. Pn Chee was generous enough to let you guys weigh first because if not nobody would finish before time and they only have one weighing machine. i personally was againts it coz we wanted to know the results quickly, but she said 'nevermind, let the others do first.'

Anyway, somehow the lorry manage to come over to our store and weigh our newspapers for us so we finished it on Friday as well!

I'm writing this just because I don't want the impression of my class to me smudge just like that when we were doing it fair and square and enjoying the journey together. I was reading some post from this blog and it seemed that you guys treat us as super cheaters as if we really cheated and we don't wanna win while people are misunderstanding that we're cheating, we wouldn't feel good ourselves for not getting things clear.

Most importantly is that we had a very good experience of competition and fair play.

All the best to you guys in you SPM!

Special honor I give to you (and any others who wish to join)

I wouldn't want to start a fight either. Thus I'll just leave it like this.

For some 5S5-ians that may be thinking "Our effort has wasted"- I don't think so.

It's this activity, our effort, our soul, our unity, that brought us together. We're a family. In fact, we got something valuable. That's friendship. And the pride, too.
