After 3 days, most of our class students had calm down and think properly. I asked a lot people in our class, I think I can announced our class will not do any complaint or appeal. Since we tried hard, we didn't get the champion but I think everyone in S5 put effort in it. People have Serena and Challenger but we only got 2 hands 2 legs each, we still have 2 ton newspapers. Some more, we improved, I was told we got third last year.

After all, I think it's no point to complaint just leave it, this maybe a good lesson to prepare us well before step into society and know that there's are unfair in things. So it's a bad thing after all. Thanks Puan Chee and Puan Chan for the free lesson on "How important in a secret agreement in determine success?" .

while others don't feel like want to complaint.

Hence, conclusion is SMJK Katholik is a school in Malaysia. We should follow the Malaysia's principal, where "Principal of Secret Agreement" is applied. Hence the result of classes in competition is not directly proportional to the newspaper weighted in 14.00. The hypothesis is accepted although quite hard to be accepted.

Seriously, we should lodge a report on this issue, that 3A2 continued to weigh their newspaper even after the time had ended. This is just unfair.

and yeah, i was talking to the LAS members that day, they were thinking of having two champions. but yet, it's just their thought. they have to discuss with their teacher adviser.

Call for a Meeting

I think we should seriously have a meeting on monday to discuss:

1. Whether to accept that 3A2 sent in their newspaper after 1400

2. Whether to accept the agreement between Mdm Chee and Mdm Chan

3. Whether to lodge a complaint on fair competition.

Personally, I felt that school are to educate students with nobel values including fairness. Even 'Keadilan" has been included in Pendidikan Moral which says :

"Tindakan dan keputusan yang SAKSAMA dan tidak berat sebelah"

while Chun Hui n othrs were out searching for newspaper,Shi Ning n I,Li Kee were actually trying our best 2 get as much as possible..v went choir room n took papers n books,ask evry member 2 sponsor sum..went bookstore n aunty gave us newspapers n papers..asked En Lim Jin Fou n he gave sum papers..asked En Guna,En Michael too...Pn Sim oso helped us actually..

So although it's quite lil frm evry1 but when add 2gthr,v gt quite a lot..total was abt 15+kg..It's better than ntg..n well,I actually saw Pn Chee n her students der too..she saw me n Shi Ning walkin whole skl 2 get newspaper..she store a lot..so wat?Me n Shi Ning manage 2 get 15+kg in abt 1hour time..

The Long Lead doesn't turn to Sweet Result.

Behalf of S5 and one of the witness for whole day incident, I wrote this report. And please read the bottom part and think whether our class should make a complaint to LAS.

Since last week our class had been leading all classes in our school‘s newspapers competition. But we knew that classes like 4P1, 4S1 and 3A2 will never give up easily. In the first 3 days of this week, we had put our effort on bringing as much as paper we can to beat 5S1. But until Wednesday, we realized 3A2 is actually the biggest challenger we facing. They stored up newspapers, so we did store up in Thursday also. In Thursday, we had already know that we might lost to 3A2, after realized how many newspapers they got in their teacher, Puan Chee’s Ford Challenger. So everyone been asked to bring newspapers at the final day.

Friday morning seem to be the busiest morning for most of the students especially students in 5S1, 5S5 and 3A2. Our classmates like James and Boon Wei had been waited in front of LM room and realized how many times had the Challenger moved the paper. We really feel under pressure. But Tjia Hwei from S4 gave his newspaper to S5. Then Chun Hui, Jia Jian, Xin Ni, Choon Lim, Xian Tze and Wei Quan for Lim Jie Yi’s newspapers. As what she promised, she filled her dad’s E280 Mercedes Benz with lots newspapers. And here we go for the 1^st turn of our class weighting session of the day. Then Edmund join us in moving newspaper. While waiting for Chun Wai’s car, Choon Lim and Xin NI had go prefect room got us some newspapers. Jie Yi tries to search newspapers in library. Not long later, Li Kee’s car reached. She brought a lot newspaper too. Not long later, guys went out and start to move newspaper from Eng Yuan’s car. Then not long later, Chun Wai’s car arrived, so do Ying Yi’s. Our class saw a big chance of keep the leading go on.

Back to the classroom, everyone put their papers in front of the classroom as usual. Everyone started to believe we can win. However, Chun Hui that’s me sitting near the back window realized a Serena came in during Moral period. Then James joined. Not long later, most of the classmate grouped. We saw the Serena have full with newspapers and those are for 3A2. This time, Boon Wei and James said they have another store, all of us thinking we might lose now. Rubbish and useless paper collection started in class but not much helped. During Maths, 5S1 brought 7 boxes of books but our class people not really care about that. Because they are far more behind us, only 3A2 will be a factor. During recess, our classmates try to convince other class to help us or combine with us. S6 didn’t agree, S7 some agreed.

During BM, our class decided not to combine with other class avoid any other controversy. So, guys in class went down to move the paper. We moved all included those stored in PBSM and LAS room. After a long weighting session, we finally get the result that we definitely beat 5S1. How about 3A2? Even their form teacher concerned about that. We had 2020.7kg, 5S1 had 1200 something kg, and 3A2 had ~~~ 1500 something… Puan Chee faked a smile and congrats us. But we said: “3A2 still have a store.” But she deny. Then we say we got spy. Then she says she not going to move that store. She even said that she actually got another 1000kg that can move but she doesn’t want. With the temporarily good news, we walked back to class with some kind of act so that our classmates wouldn’t know the result. We told them we lost, they don’t really believe. Then we tell the truth. We currently leading but 3A2 still have a store to go. Not much people believe that 3A2 can win, but we guys do. So Chun Hui, Eng Yuan, Edmund, Jia Jian, Mun Hon, Zhen Yoong and Joseph went to hold a secret meeting with the excuse goes to wash hand. We decided to carry out our last plan- ask around the neighborhood and try extending the lead.

After the school end, we started our plan. Boon Wei had LM meeting but he lend us 3 walkie-talkies that allow us to communicate easier. Then Joseph gets us 3 trolleys which made us possible to carry newspapers. So we divided into 3 groups.

Group 1: Edmund and Joseph.

Group 2: Zhen Yoong, Chan Yip and Jun Mun(went home on the way due to something)

Group 3: Chun Hui, Jia Jian and Ren Hong.

Then we started our hard work houses by houses to get newspapers. We went back school on 1.45pm with 140 something kg newspapers. We moved our newspapers to LAS room where we heard some Form 3 girls said about our kiashuness ( I don’t know where the 3A2 girl found this word in dictionary but somehow she used it). Then they keep saying they will weigh the newspapers on Monday. Then Ren Hong start argue with them, then LAS people said there wouldn’t be any weighting session on Monday so 5S5 won the champion. And we asked a few times, where they gave answer: “5S5 won the champion.” Then those Form 3 don’t want to lost and called their Puan Chee. Below are their conversation (originally without adding anything)

Puan Chee said: “No. We wouldn’t weigh anything. I had already received the instructions. ”

Form 3 girl: “But they say not going to receive anything on Monday.”

Puan Chee: “You don’t care what they say. I had already tell Puan Chan. She is the teacher advisor for the club.”

Then Puan Chee start explaining to us that how trouble will it be to move their paper, and she had receive instructions and some sort like agreement with the Puan Chan. But LAS people said we won. So we went canteen for eating where we meets Shi Ning, Li Kee, Eli, Jie Yi and Choon Lim. Almost 2.45, where some of them went off. Me, Jaywvin and Ren Hong decided to check out the 3A2’s store because we heard them going to weight the newspapers. Jie Yi, Jia Jian, Zhen Yoong and Shi Ning joint us too. So we waited and wait for them to move the paper. It’s really a lot where we think we’ll be losing. Almost 3.30pm, LAS concluded they have total of 1200 something kg in the store total up with their 1500 something, they had about 2700kg which is about 600 something more than ours 2159kg newspapers.

I think most of the people in our class will be disagree because weighting session should end by 2pm. So I suggested we discuss in class on Monday whether we should make a complaint. We have more than one week lead over all the classes and we lost the champions on the 45minutes after the competition end. ..

For the Pride of Us

Only since 2 weeks ago I (and most of my classmates) realized that our school is holding a newspaper collecting competition.

Last year, our class, 5S5 had won the third place. This year, we aim for first.

We've carried out various operations to achieve our goal- operation PLUS 5 (Pungut Lebih Untuk S5), operation SPAM (Super Power At Maximum)... etc.

When other classes found out our goal, they strive for it too. The amount of newspaper brought had shot up ferociously for 2 continuous weeks, form 113kg, 368kg, 513kg, 654kg, 913kg... and until today, the judgment day.

Early in the morning, when I brought my 2 feet high newspapers to school, I noticed that some of our classmates are there ready to help. Jie Yi has brought a whole car of newspapers, and thanks to yesterday's effort there is still quite a lot in LAS room.

When I'm happy to see what we've brought, the unthinkable happened. News came around that 3A2 have the generous support from their class teacher, and her filled-with-newspaper challenger had unloaded for 4 times!

Besides, there are still a lot of newspaper below the staircase beside the school's staff room. We went to see, and that's really a lot.

Anyhow, our classmates are gambling with them, and we're playing ALL IN. This is the greatest bet we've ever made. While we're thinking that one of our rival 5S1 will surely lose, there came a truck with 6 boxes of magazines and hell lots of newspapers. That's spectacular. Kenny Rolan must had rented the lorry for the 2 weeks collecting newspapers around his neighborhood.

We're depressed. But then, after some calculations we expect to half-fight with A2. Then around 12:25, news came out that we have 2020kg while A2 have 1560kg. Wow, 2020kg! I never thought that our class could bring that much in just 2 days. It's 1 tonne!

The competition was ended at 2pm, but I don't know the results yet. 3A2 brought stacks of newspapers form the staircase (the 1560 figure was WITHOUT those below the staircase), and our classmates went around the school trying to collect newspapers from the neighborhood.

Well, I got to go back to school and find out the results. No matter which position we win, we showed out the great teamwork and spirit among us.

It's time, that we show them what we can do; time, to show that we're unrivaled; time, to receive our pride! Vincero!

hey..U guys did a VERY good job..indeed..frm 1st day 91kg jump 2 240+kg n today finally 530+kg..Many class say v were crazy and they now hav da motivation 2 win us..
